Because I have TWO huge pieces of news for you today…

#1 - ‘Beige’ - a hilarious and catchy song I wrote with Jeremy Dillon for Michal and Moe has been named as a finalist in the NGĀ MANU TĪRAIRAKA | 2024 NZ CHILDREN'S MUSIC AWARDS.

This is very exciting and I am looking forward to celebrating with all my fellow nominees and children’s musicians on May 5th in Auckland!


The next piece of news may blow your mind….

#2 I HAVE BEEN GRANTED FUNDING FROM NZ ON AIR TO PRODUCE MY OWN PRESCHOOL MUSIC SERIES FOR YOUTUBE!!!!!!!!!!

"Aimed at tamariki is Music with Michal, a preschool series based on the format of creator Michal Bush’s musical content for Michal and Moe. It will be available to view on Michal’s successful YouTube Kids channel"

I've set up my own little space in Salt Lane Studios and I'm officially in my 'Music with Michal Studios Ltd' era!

So incredibly grateful to NZ On Air Music for supporting me, and so proud of myself for all the hard yards that lead to this opportunity.

Thank you to Jeremy Dillon for all our hard work, creativity, lessons and success on YouTube with Michal and Moe which made this possible and for coming on board as executive producer on this project.

In an extremely challenging time for the television industry the privilege of receiving funding is not lost on me at all.
